Pertemuan dengan Bupati Minahasa Utara
Selasa (09/08/2022) – Bupati Minahasa Utara Joune J.E. Ganda, SE, MAP dan Wakil Bupati Minahasa Utara. Kevin W. Lotulung, SH, MH (JGKWL) melakukan pertemuan dengan Ferry Snyders selaku Direktur Utama PT. Indonesia Ferry Properti (IFPRO), di Hotel Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo.
JGKWL Bersama IFPRO dalam pertemuannya membahas investasi Hotel Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo di ruangan Executive Lounge Meeting & Moon Bar yang tampak begitu arsitektural dengan view yang exotic yaitu kapal phinisi di perairan hotel.
PT. Indonesia Ferry Properti (IFPRO) membangun Kawasan Terpadu Marina Labuan Bajo di Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) untuk meningkatkan daya tarik wisata di daerah tersebut yang saat ini telah ditetapkan sebagai Destinasi Pariwisata Super Prioritas (DPSP). IFPRO merupakan perusahaan joint venture antara dua perusahaan BUMN, yaitu PT PP (Persero) Tbk dan PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero).
Hotel Meruorah tersebut adalah sebuah brand yang memiliki arti sebagai puncak komodo, Meruorah bisa menjadi icon baru yang menyajikan kekayaan cultural lokal serta didukung dengan adanya pusat bisnis di Labuan Bajo yaitu di Kawasan Marina Labuan Bajo. Sebagai hotel bintang 5 (lima) Hotel Meruorah mengedepankan kenyamanan dan keamanan para tamu yang menginap juga menerapkan standar protokol kesehatan dan selain itu hotel telah memiliki sertifikat CHSE (Clean, Health, Safety, Environment Sustainability) dari Kemenparekraf.
Perkembangan Labuan Bajo sebagai Destinasi Pariwisata Super Prioritas menarik perhatian Bupati Minahasa Utara dan Wakil Bupati Minahasa Utara untuk terus melakukan pengembangan di daerah tersebut. Labuan Bajo telah berkembang sangat pesat, ada beberapa hotel bintang lima yang sudah beroperasi sedangkan di sisi lain Kabupaten Minahasa Utara yang juga memiliki Likupang sebagai DPSP saat ini hanya memiliki satu hotel bintang 5 yang masih dalam tahap pembangunan yaitu PT. Bhineka Mancawisata di Paputungan Likupang. Bupati Minahasa Utara menyampaikan bahwa kedepan akan lebih bekerja keras untuk berkoordinasi dengan dengan Kementerian terkait untuk lebih memacu pembangunan infrastruktur di Likupang Minahasa Utara.
